In almost every way, I am just like you.  I’ve had really great times in my life, and I’ve had times when I thought I’d never be able to walk out of the darkest valleys imaginable.  The more I live the more I realize everyone has pain; very few people get through life without experiencing the heart-wrenching emotions that come when we open our hearts to our fellow human beings.  Really, that’s all you need to know; I am just.  like.  you.

Titles the world gives me?  A funny, sarcastic single mom, teacher, and Christian who is domestically challenged and a little obsessed with getting healthy, and who aspires to one day being one of those people who is highly-organized and always has a clean home.

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 3: 13-14
